The Guadalupe Centers Charter Schools serves 1,600 students ranging from PreK–12, and is a free, open-enrollment public charter school. Over 97% of our students are Latinx. Our school system consists of Guadalupe Centers High School, Guadalupe Centers Middle School, and Guadalupe Centers Elementary School. Our system grew out of Guadalupe Centers’ educational programming. Guadalupe Centers is the longest continuously operating agency serving the Latinx community in the U.S. since 1919. Summary

The ELD Paraprofessional supports English Learner (EL) students by reinforcing academic instruction and English language development under the direction of certified teachers. This position provides instructional, behavioral, and social-emotional support to ensure EL students can meaningfully access the curriculum and achieve academic success.

The ELD Paraprofessional works collaboratively with classroom teachers, ELD specialists, and building staff to support language acquisition, academic growth, and positive school experiences, in compliance with DESE requirements and district policies.
